Harlem-Roscoe Firefighters responded to a rollover accident on Interstate 90 eastbound on Aug. 19. It seems that a semi truck and a Subaru Outback had crashed and both vehicles had traveled into the ditch. The driver of the semi was uninjured. Firefighters extricated the driver of the Outback. Both east and westbound lanes of Interstate 90 were shut down to land the OSF Life Flight Helicopter. The driver of the outback was then airlifted to the hospital. Two passing motorists assisted with an injured dog that had been riding in the Outback and one of them offered to take it to an emergency vet.
