Honoring local serving members of the police, fire, and emergency response departments was what it all was about Sunday, August 26, at the Historic Auto Museum at 13750 Metric in Roscoe. The owner, Wayne Lensing, hosted a family-style picnic on the grounds of his museum. It was a beautiful day for a family picnic, and fun was had by all that attended. There was free food for all that was donated and served by Life Church of Roscoe. There was also plenty for the kids to do with a climbing wall, face painting, balloon sculpturing, looking at emergency and military vehicles, and entertainment from Pickles the Clown. The highlight though, was a tour of the museum with free admission. Here are a few pictures of the fun day...
