Harlem-Roscoe Fire Chief Don Shoevlin says "This is an unfortunate incident whose outcome was not positive. It is incidents of this nature or magnitude that not only tries our physical endurance, but our emotions as well. We as a department never quit. We continued to work with multiple public agencies and utilized many available resources. All personnel involved from all agencies performed their duties in the utmost professional way. I am very proud of our firefighters for their tireless efforts and comitment. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to the family and friends."
