Ventura Blvd. House Fire.

January 4, 2005, Harlem-Roscoe Fire responded to a report of a mattress fire on Ventura Blvd. First in units reported a fully involved house fire. In freezing temperatures with a steady snowfall, It took over 4 hours to bring the fire under control and only then the overhaul began. Over 300 gallons of foam was also put inside the home to get to hot spots. 5 firefighters were injured during the blaze, but only one needed to be transported to the hospital. He was treated and released.
