Fatal Lawn Mower Accident

Harlem-Roscoe Fire Chief Don Shoevlin would like to thank the three motorists that tried to rescue a woman trapped under her burning mower on Prairie Hill Road, and offer tthe department's heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of the victim. One of the good samaritans was burned in the rescue and was treated and released on scene by Harlem-Roscoe Paramedics.

Sadly the woman was prounounced dead at the scene. The Winnebago County Coroners Office released that the autopsy on Suzanne Coleman, 66, of South Beloit, proved to be inconclusive pending further forensic studies and toxicological tests.
