A lightning strikes caused a fire in a 4-apartment complex on Morning Cloak in Roscoe. Firefighters aggressively attacked what turned out to be a fire in the attic and roof; saving the apartments. It was raining so hard on the way to the fire that the Chief said he could only see the flashing red lights of the fire truck in front of him. Since the department's rescue squad was over at Monroe Fire School for the day, Rockton Fire assisted on the scene with their rescue truck.
