For the second time in one evening, Lifeline Helicopter was dispatched for an accident in our fire district. This one would be for a rollover off Beloit Road in Argyle and again heavy extrication would be needed. Luckily rescue trucks were able to maneuver through the construction on Belvidere Road just north of the accident to get to the accident. Loves Park Fire also dispatched an ambulance from the South. Beloit Road would be closed and the helicopter landed on the road. Motorists had helped a passenger out of the vehicle before crews arrived on scene and she was tranported to the hospital by ambulance. A pet dog was uninjured in the crash. The driver however, was pinned in the vehicle and firefighters used heavy extrication tools such as the "Jaws-of-Life" to extricate her. She was then air-lifted to the hospital by Lifeline Helicopter.
