Jeep in River

Harlem-Roscoe Firefighters assisted the Roscoe Police and Action Towing pull a jeep from the Rock River at Riverside Park on August 17. Harlem-Roscoe Firefighters Shannon Burbach and Paul Stanphill donned protective "Mustang" suits to help hook up the jeep in the river. It seems the driver thought the river wasn't as deep as it was as they tried to drive between sand bars out in the river. Another Jeep (Cherokee) then tried to pull the jeep out; getting their jeep stuck as well. Both jeeps ended up being towed out.
